Absolutely. Classical Pilates was designed for every body — regardless of age, fitness level, or physical challenge. Our instructors are trained to modify every exercise to your unique needs. Joseph Pilates himself worked with injured dancers and aging clients. There is no "too old" or "too broken" for this method.
Pilates builds lean muscle, improves posture, and increases body awareness — supporting healthy weight management. Most clients notice postural changes and reduced tension within the first few sessions. Significant strength and body composition changes develop over 10–20 consistent sessions.
While both practices cultivate mind-body awareness, they are fundamentally different. Yoga is a spiritual and meditative practice with roots in Eastern philosophy. Classical Pilates is a systematic, sequential exercise method focused on spinal health, core strength, and functional movement — originally developed as physical rehabilitation by Joseph Pilates.
Joseph Pilates recommended practicing 3 times per week for optimal results. Even once a week consistently produces meaningful change. We recommend starting with 2–3 sessions per week as a new member to build a strong foundation quickly and feel the transformation sooner.
Private (1-on-1): Full instructor attention on you — best for beginners and rapid progress. Semi-private (duet): Shared with one other person — lower cost, social energy, with individual cueing. Group (3–4 max): Our most accessible format — structured class with community feel, still far more intimate than typical fitness studios.
We ask for at least 24 hours' notice for cancellations. Late cancellations or no-shows may be charged for the session. We understand life happens — please contact us as early as possible so we can accommodate other clients and reschedule you promptly.
